Especially to how the development has been going lately. (not that the two have jobs, more like I have no time I *want* to put in BZ2 anymore) I've watched the community come and go, left myself for a good long time, came back to what it is now, and after observing for some time, I don't think the community is what it could be, or used to be. For an old game, I'm surprised there is still some people left for this game.

Anyway, its come down to this.. I've lost virtually all interest in this game. I came back once, and now I have no intentions of coming back. Beta testing the UEP was interesting to say the least, but unfortunately, I can't seem to drag myself to even be a private beta tester either. I'll keep the SVN up for those who are on the team, so no worries there. But.. lately the game itself is just not as entertaining as it once has been. I still love FE, Fleshstorm is alright, but too hard even for a casual player, and QF had some nifty tricks. With all that's in the UEP, I do hope for the best.

So, this post is marking the fact that I'm leaving the beta team, and BZ2 altogether. All of my BZ2 directories will be deleted, and the disc stored somewhere... And with that, I'm gone from BZ2.

I've felt the same way for a while which is why I haven't been as active.  My disinterest is the result of frustration, years worth, due to testers not doing their part.  I got tired of single a long time ago so I mainly play mp, unfortunately the current testing team consists of mostly modders which isn't helpful the least.
